Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Ottumwa, Iowa
- Shift: 7p–7a
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Call: none
- Floating: may float within the hospital to other units as needed
- Housing options are available at additional cost
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN
- STABLE
Onboarding Requirements
- Iowa SING background check with criminal and child abuse portions
- All county and state background checks fully cleared before start
- Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult
- 10-panel drug screen including opiates
- Titers within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB
Additional Notes
- Start dates allowed on Monday or Tuesday
- Unit ratios: active labor 1:1; couplet care 3:1
