Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units
Patient Ratio: 4:1
Number of Beds: 24
Patient Population: Generalized cardiac patients, ages young adult to elderly adult
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Chest Pain, A-fib, CHF, Pre & Post care for cardiac caths (groin & radial), VATS

Required Qualifications

Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification
Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Cardiac Telemetry)
Must Have Skills/Experience: Life Pak, Zoll, Masimo
Preferred Skills: Cerner EHR experience
Education: Associate’s Degree

Work Environment

Facility Department: Telemetry
Equipment Used: Life Paks, Zoll, Masimo, Cerner EHR
Dress Code: Any color scrubs allowed
Unit Culture: Family-oriented unit

Contract Length

Duration: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Notes

Orientation occurs twice monthly
Travel candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel rate
No prior travel experience explicitly required for this position
