Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Temp) – Dallas, TX

Job Summary

Perform quality control, troubleshooting, and maintenance on nuclear medicine equipment and devices. Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate procedures and ensure compliance with quality management programs. Document laboratory operations, including radioactive materials handling, quality control data, patient procedures, and medical records. Provide clinical instruction to radiology students and residents. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nuclear medicine advancements and regulatory requirements. Foster positive working relationships with healthcare team members to support efficient operations.

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Shift: Days
  • Hours per day: 8
  • Work week: Wednesday through Tuesday
  • Overtime and holiday pay at 1.5x
  • Callback pay applies with a minimum of 2 hours
  • No unbillable orientation hours
  • On-call available

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Texas
  • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Active permanent or temporary Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from the Texas Medical Board
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Siemens and Spectrum Imaging systems

Documentation and Profile Requirements

  • Resume
  • Skills checklist specific to the discipline
  • Two supervisory references from within the last year
  • Proof of taxable address (e.g., driver’s license, utility bill, lease agreement)
  • Active ARRT certification documentation
  • Current American Heart Association BLS documentation

Additional Information

  • Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible for a local rate
  • Must disclose any previous employment history with the facility
  • Cancellation policy allows up to 3 shift cancellations per 13-week contract
