Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry
Location: Salem, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Description
- Position requires experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) with Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) exposure.
- Patient ratios: RN 1:4-6; CNA 1:6-13 (days), 1:10-13 (nights).
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend (not greater than every other).
- Clinician may be required to float within scope, including to a nearby hospital.
- Block scheduling is not accommodated.
- Locals and candidates with pending Oregon RN licenses are accepted.
- Start date: ASAP.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon.
- Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Experience in Intermediate Care Unit (IMC).
- Competency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Certifications & Compliance
- BLS (AHA) required.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year.
- Required immunizations or documented immunity:
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (antibody titer or 2 vaccines).
- Varicella (antibody titer or 2 vaccines).
- Hepatitis B (titer, 3-dose series, or declination).
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine or facility-specific declination.
- Annual flu vaccination or signed declination.
- 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start.
- Background checks including criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and international checks if applicable.
- NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start.
- Badge photo required at least 8 days prior to start.
- Fit mask testing onsite within first week of start (if starting after 1/27/25).

Additional Notes
- Candidates without the required MS/Tele experience or certifications will be automatically rejected.
- Clinicians must comply with facility’s return-to-work restrictions (assignments longer than 2 weeks require approval).
- Client may cancel up to 1 shift per 4-week assignment, 2 shifts per 8-week assignment, or 3 shifts per 13-week assignment.
- First-time travel nurses are accepted.
- Must list Oregon RN license status in application submission.
