Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Guilford, Connecticut
• 13-week assignment
• Evening shift, 3x12 hours
• 36 hours per week
• Average patient ratio: 1:6
• Start date: ASAP
• One campus assignment, with possible rotation to other campuses
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Guaranteed hours
• Every other weekend required
• First-timers not accepted
• Pending license accepted
• RTO greater than 7 days requires approval

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Connecticut
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a like hospital

• Driver’s license or state ID matching legal name required on first day
• 7-year criminal background check required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start
• Education verification required
• Physical exam required within 12 months of start
• Fit test required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• TB questionnaire required and updated annually
• 10-panel drug screen required within 12 months of start
• References required within 3 years of start
• 7-year work history required with no gaps greater than 90 days
• Skills checklist required within 12 months of start
• New employee orientation module required at orientation/start
• ED handbook required for ED/ER RNs
• Language services training required
• CAUTI education training required
• Suicide risk and environmental assessment training required
