Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience, with experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

Proof of I9 or attestation
Government-issued photo ID carried during hours of service
E-Verify proof or attestation
Background checks:
- 7-year criminal history check within 1 year of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start (Livescan electronic fingerprinting accepted nationwide)
Drug screen: Negative 10 panel within 1 year of start (no Florida Medical Marijuana card accepted)
Physical exam within 6 months of start
Immunizations and titers required:
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
- Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination
- Varicella: 2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually; TB questionnaire for past positives
Seasonal influenza vaccine required during flu season (10/31-3/31); medical/religious exemptions allowed with approved documentation
COVID-19 vaccination series or approved medical/religious exemption required
Two professional references within 2 years of start (required for travel nurses)
Employment application and skills checklist (updated annually) required
Pass/Fail testing (EKG/Medication) administered during orientation; must pass to continue
Completion of online training modules prior to start (time-sensitive, must be prioritized)
Acknowledgement of safety manual, HIPAA, and pass/fail testing required

Time-sensitive online modules must be completed by due date; cannot be done on phone and must be completed in Google Chrome
Candidates must watch training videos fully before testing or risk being locked out
Facility issues radiation badges to applicable candidates
Candidates must be nicotine-free with negative drug and nicotine screening
