Job Overview

Role Summary

• Stepdown role that frequently floats to ICU and MedSurg units.
• Floating is required across Stepdown, ICU, and MedSurg.
• Candidate must be comfortable working in both Stepdown and ICU settings.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS

Additional Job Details

• EOW required
• 21 beds
• Non-titrating drips used
• Common patient care includes cardiac, vascular, CIWA, peritoneal dialysis, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, home ventilators, wound care, nebulizers, and hemodialysis support
• Scrubs: royal blue and white
• Orientation occurs every Wednesday
• EMR: Meditech
