Main OR Circulator

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Kerrville, Texas
• Unit/Cost Center: Main OR 6600
• Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Late shifts are mandatory
• Weekend/on-call coverage is part of the assignment
• Floating: may float to the Surgery Center OR when census is low or coverage is needed there
• Scrubs are provided / hospital laundered scrubs are worn
• Call room available if necessary
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Role focus

• Main OR Circulator
• The OR does everything except the heart, brain, and spine

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Texas
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous charge experience
