Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN assignment in Los Banos, California.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
• 36 hours per week.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Weekends are included in the rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California.
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience).
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Additional Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start.
• Sex offender search required within 90 days of start.
• FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and monthly after start.
• California Medi-Cal search is required if monthly FACIS III cannot be run.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG searches are required.
• Education verification is required.
• Unit-specific skills checklist required.
• Full 7 years of work history must be included in the application with no gaps.
• Employment history verification must cover up to 7 years and explain gaps over 30 days.
• TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start and renewed annually.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 90 days of start, with annual renewal for TB testing.
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask test required within 1 year of start and renewed annually.
• Negative 9-panel drug screen required within 6 months of start.
• Flu vaccination documentation required during flu season.
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap documentation required within 10 years of start.
• Candidate must review and sign job description, standards of business conduct, general regulatory orientation, vendor training, code of conduct, and overpayment refund policy before start.
• RN Epic questionnaire required for new candidates starting 11/3/2025 and onward.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
