Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure, ACLS/PALS certification, and at least 2 years of ER experience.
Details
- Emergency Department setting within a hospital
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Weekend rotation included in the schedule
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year
Additional Information
- Provide emergency nursing care across a range of patient acuities
- Max RTO of 7 days per contract
- Only 1 holiday may be requested off per contract; recognized holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at the local rate
- Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning
- Must complete required labs within 3-5 days of contract signing
- 7-year work history verification required
