Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
• 1 year of Cardiac Stepdown experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with Epic
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS

Work Expectations

• Must float to other units or campuses as needed, if qualified
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Additional Hiring Requirements

• Driver’s license or state ID required for computer access and must be carried while on duty
• E-Verify or attestation required
• Seven-year background check required
• OFAC, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG checks required
• Education verification required

• Online orientation modules must be completed within 72 hours of assignment
• Pre-assignment testing is required
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit mask / respirator fit test required for onsite clinical candidates
• TB screening required
• Drug screening required within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption required
• Employment application must include seven-year work history
