PACU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Location: Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day, 5x8 hours
• Hours per week: 40
• Schedule notes: Variable shift hours depending on daily schedule

Work Setting

• Fast-paced outpatient surgery center
• Heavy ophthalmology cases, including cataract extraction and local pain management
• Ortho cases are a plus, including total joint replacement, rotator cuff/ACL repair, and carpal tunnel release

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• IV experience/proficiency

Schedule Expectations

• No on-call requirement
• No weekend requirement
• No floating requirement

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are welcome
• RTO must be provided at time of submission; requests after submission will not be accepted
• Scrubs are provided
