NICU Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Madison, Wisconsin
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day or night shifts
- Schedule includes Monday through Friday and 2–3 weekends per 6-week scheduling period
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with post-operative patient care
- Experience with g-tube management
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management
- Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
- Experience with Epic
Clinical Experience
- Experience with post-op patients
- Experience with g-tubes
- Experience with trach/vent management
- Experience with invasive and noninvasive ventilation modes
Compliance / Onboarding
- Background check
- Wisconsin caregiver screening
- WI BID form
- E-Verify
- Employment application
- 2 clinical references within the last 3 years
- Skills checklist
- Drug screen
- TB screening and TB questionnaire
- MMR immunity or acceptable titers
- Varicella immunity or acceptable titer
