Contract

• 13 weeks
• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; non-Oregon licensed RNs may be eligible for a 90-day temporary license if the permanent license is not posted before the assignment start
• BLS
• ACLS
• 2 years of medical-surgical experience preferred

Unit Details

• Med-surg float pool covering general medicine, cardiology, all med-surg units, ED boarding, post-surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, behavioral health, and medical oncology
• Must be competent with chest tubes, central lines, and heparin drips
• Telemetry is monitored centrally; reading strips is not required

Schedule Requirements

• Weekends required
• Must work some holidays, including 2 of 3 winter holidays
• No block scheduling
• May be placed on standby and called in during the shift

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation in the first week
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
