Shift Details
- Night shifts
- 12-hour shifts (typical shift hours include 7p-7a)
- Weekend requirement: every third weekend (Friday/Saturday nights or Saturday/Sunday days)
- Holiday requirement: rotating
- Self-scheduling available, but shifts are not guaranteed until schedule is finalized
- No floating required
Patient Population & Environment
- 27 beds in the ER
- Patients of all ages
- Support staff on each shift includes nurse aides, EMTs, and paramedics
- Phlebotomy services available (RNs do not draw labs)
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Nebraska
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
- ED experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
