Shift Details

Night shifts
12-hour shifts (typical shift hours include 7p-7a)
Weekend requirement: every third weekend (Friday/Saturday nights or Saturday/Sunday days)
Holiday requirement: rotating
Self-scheduling available, but shifts are not guaranteed until schedule is finalized
No floating required

Patient Population & Environment

27 beds in the ER
Patients of all ages
Support staff on each shift includes nurse aides, EMTs, and paramedics
Phlebotomy services available (RNs do not draw labs)

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
ED experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
