Diagnostic Imaging - CT Technologist

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform routine CT scans independently following radiologist protocols.
• Ability to scan per protocols and function without supervision.
• Experience with venipuncture and advanced imaging techniques such as MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging.
• Procedures like biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging are a plus.
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred.
• Shifts vary by need; 10-hour varied shifts; no on-call required.
• Must attend employee health appointment the Friday before assignment start (arrival required the Thursday before).
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Hawaii
• Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience working in an acute care setting

Additional Information

• Must apply for Hawaii state license upon acceptance if not already licensed.
• Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
