- 12-hour day shift
- Must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
16 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (5 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Post Partum experience
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or ALSO issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- AWHONN Advanced FHM or RNC-EFM
Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for Labor and Delivery, Post Partum rooms, BFHI, and newborns rooming in with mothers
- May occasionally serve as charge nurse after charge nurse training
- May float to other qualified departments and perform patient care or task-oriented support as needed
Clinical Volume
- Average 40 deliveries per month
- Average 6 C-sections per month
