Job Summary

Provide pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II recovery care for surgical patients in a PACU setting.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Critical Care setting
ED - Emergency Department experience

Preferred / May Be Required

PALS certification from the American Heart Association
Other specialty-related certifications, including NIHSS and TNCC

Schedule

Variable shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours
Days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
No guarantee of hours or shift preference
On-call 0–3 times per month

Compliance / Start Requirements

Must apply for a Hawaii license upon acceptance if not already active
Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exception is required before contract start
Must arrive the Thursday before start for employee health clearance on Friday
