Travel RN - Operating Room (OR)

Employment Type: Travel Contract

Unit Information

• Unit: Operating Room
• Number of ORs: 4 ORs + 1 Endoscopy
• Staffing:

  • 4 Full-Time RNs
  • 3 Full-Time CSTs
  • 1 PRN RN
  • 1 Call-Only RN (Friday-Sunday)
  • 1 Call-Only CST (Friday-Sunday)
  • 2 Environmental Services
  • 3 Sterile Processing Department staff
• Shifts:

  • Day Shift only (7 AM - 5 PM)
  • No night shift
• Patient Ratios: Not specified
• Equipment: Stryker surgical equipment
• EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills and Certifications

• Must Have:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • Experience with Ortho, Spine, DaVinci, Mako, Globus, Laparoscopic procedures
• Preferred:

  • Prior experience with surgical procedures in the OR
