Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - Operating Room

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiovascular Surgery Operating Room (CVOR)
Shift: Weekday shifts, 7 AM to 5 PM
Call: Call requirements vary based on need and staffing; call is required and will be discussed during the interview
Weekends: No weekend shifts required
Team Structure:
- Day Shift: Teams of 3 (2 RNs and 1 CST)
- Night Shift: Teams of 2 (1 RN and 1 CST)
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Equipment: Stryker and GE
EMR System: Meditech
Float: May be asked to float to other related units within the system

Typical Procedures

Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repair
Valve Replacement
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)

Required Qualifications

Valid Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Minimum 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
