Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Indianapolis, Indiana
- 2 openings
- Day shift
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend requirement: every weekend, Saturday/Sunday
- Floating required to other inpatient areas when the home unit is low census
Unit Details
- Adult Intensive Care Unit
- 30 beds
- Typical patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
- Patient population includes sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric disorders
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Care of septic patients
- Care of mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices
Preferred Experience
- CRRT
- Epic familiarity
Additional Information
- Equipment used includes Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000
- Navy scrubs required
- Hoodies and non-facility sweatshirts are not allowed
- Orientation includes first-day modules, Epic training if needed, and one day of unit orientation
