Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Interventional Radiology (3 years of experience)
- Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS
- ACLS
- Experience administering and monitoring moderate sedation
- ED - Emergency Department experience
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
Preferred Experience
- Emergency Department experience and/or Intensive Care Unit experience
Work Setting
- Procedural Interventional Radiology environment with 6 procedure rooms and 11 holding/recovery beds
- High-volume setting with approximately 25–35 patients per day
Responsibilities / Procedures
- Catheter placements
- Arterial procedures
- Biopsies
- Paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
- Angiograms
- Fistulagrams
- Pulmonary embolism lysis
- Neuro Interventional Radiology procedures, including diagnostic angiograms, coiling, stent placements, and thrombectomies
- Epidural injections
Schedule / On-Call
- Rotating call required
- No floating to other units
- No scheduled weekend requirements unless assigned to the on-call rotation
- No scheduled holiday requirements unless assigned to the on-call rotation
