Interventional Radiology Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Schedule: 4 ten-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- On-call: 8-10 days every 4 weeks, including 2 weekend shifts
- Work setting involves stroke, neuro intervention, cerebral thrombectomies, embolizations, and trauma cases
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ARRT certification
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Certifications & Competencies
- NIH Stroke Certification (AHA, Apex, Blue Cloud, or equivalent) required
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam required
- Color blindness testing annually (minimum 80% score)
- Competency exams as applicable, updated annually

- Formaldehyde safety (for OR/perioperative nursing)
- Laser safety (OR nurses only)
- Hillrom Centrella Smart+ Bed and Progressa Bed in-service videos
- Plum 360 module
- PPE donning and doffing for COVID-19 (nursing and respiratory)
- Pharmaceutical waste training (dialysis only)
- Safe injection practices (dialysis only)
- Sepsis core measure (dialysis only)
- Biohazard waste safety (dialysis only)
- Caring for patients with obstetrical emergencies (nursing in ED, L&D, Mother-Baby/Postpartum)
- Required request law: organ donation (nursing only)
- Pharmaceutical services (nursing only)
- HIPAA privacy training (all candidates)
- Blood administration & anticoagulant therapy (nursing only)
- Venous thromboembolism (VTE) initial and annual (allied and non-clinical only)
Additional Requirements
- Passport-style badge photo on solid white background (color, no hats/sunglasses, no filters)
- Compliance with privacy policy, AHCA affidavit, and demographic information sheet
- Must complete all required online orientation modules by due date
- Local candidates considered within a 60-mile radius
