Job Overview

• Role: Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room
• Location: Latrobe, Pennsylvania
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Rotating; 3x12-hour shifts
• Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Required Pre-Start Items

• Government-issued photo ID
• Emergency contact form
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Fingerprinting and Pennsylvania state clearance requirements
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire
• Immunization or immunity documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
• Negative 15-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or documentation during flu season
• Photo for badge
• Signed job description
• Orientation and facility policy acknowledgements/training documents

Additional Notes

• Workplace violence prevention training is completed onsite during orientation
• COVID exemption requests are available for religious or medical reasons if applicable
