Registered Nurse - ER (Night Shift)

Location: Germantown, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Hours per week: 36
• Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience preferred
• On-call as needed
• Weekend shifts as needed, on rotation
• Weekend block schedule not generally accommodated (may be discussed during interview)
• Strict 100-mile radius rule; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers not accepted unless they have 3+ years recent experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with at least some experience within the last year
• Experience working with Level I Trauma patients
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Additional Requirements

• Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (shoulders up, forward facing, no glasses glare, no hats/head coverings except religious, no piercings visible)
• Submission packet includes application, references, skills checklist, state license verification, and certification information
• EPIC questionnaire required for RNs (may test out of EPIC training if experienced)
• Confidentiality acknowledgment must be signed prior to start
• Onsite fit test and questionnaire must be completed before start date
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed

Notes

• Prior travel experience is required (first-timers not accepted unless 3+ years recent experience)
• All required documents and clearances must be submitted at time of application; no exceptions for pending items
• Facility does not accept candidates with pending licenses or incomplete compliance at start
• Candidates must comply with all immunization and health screening requirements to be cleared for assignment
