Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Voorhees, New Jersey.
• 13-week assignment.
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• 36 hours per week.
• Level III high risk facility.
• Block scheduling is considered but not guaranteed.
• RTO is due at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted.
• EOW/EOH.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey.
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
• 2.5 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure.
• Antepartum experience.
• Must pass Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing; only two attempts are allowed, and it must be taken on a PC.

Preferred

• EPIC charting.

Unit / Float Scope

• Will float to High Risk OB as needed.
• High Risk OB includes 16 rooms and cares for early inductions, antepartum, and patients on continuous monitoring.
• May float to up to two nearby lower-volume hospitals.
• For L&D RNs, floating is uncommon; if floated, assignment will be within scope of practice.

• Scrubs provided by hospital.
