Overview

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Weekend requirement: 3 out of 6
  • Float: Yes, to an observation unit for ER hold patients
  • First-time travelers accepted: Yes
  • RTO restriction: No more than 7 days

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Required Certifications

  • ACLS

Additional Notes

  • Scrubs: traveler may wear their own scrubs, no prints
  • Facility badge photo required
  • Fit mask required
  • Physical exam required within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB or chest X-ray required
  • Tdap required within 10 years
  • Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
  • COVID vaccination record or declination required
  • Drug screen required
  • Respiratory safety clearance required
  • Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
  • Employment application must include at least the last 5 years of employment
  • Background check and education verification are required
