Medical Surgical RN Travel Contract

Location

Stockbridge, Georgia

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week
Every other weekend
Floating within the facility and to a sister campus if needed

Contract Length

20 weeks

Patient Population

Adults to geriatrics

Unit Focus

Orthopedic med surg, total hips and revisions, total knees and revisions, shoulders, spine, general surgery, overflow med surg

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Orthopedics experience
BLS
ACLS
NURSYS verification
Education verification of related degree
Background check completed before start
Negative 10-panel drug screen before start
Physical exam
TB questionnaire
Negative TB test or chest x-ray
References
Skills checklist
Verification of most recent employer
Color blind testing
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
Competency exam
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
