Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in West Islip, New York
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No call and no weekend requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements

• Background check completed within 30 days of start and updated annually
• State license verification within 30 days of start
• Physical exam using the facility-specific form, initiated within 24–48 hours of offer acceptance and completed within 30 days before start; updated annually
• Fit test completed within 12 months of start using Halyard Fluidshield N95 or 3M 1860 mask
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray completed within 1 year of start
• Hepatitis B antibody and antigen results required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
• Standard 9-panel drug screen required
• Flu vaccination or approved declination/exemption required during flu season
• COVID vaccine documentation preferred if available

Additional Screening and Documentation

• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days prior to start
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days prior to start
• New York State Medicaid exclusion list check within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
• Education verification or diploma/transcript documentation
• Signed AUP form
• Completed facility physical form signed by a clinician with degree included
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam with minimum score of 80%
