Sonographer Position - Boston, Massachusetts
Job Details
- Specialty: Sonographer

- Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- General Case Types: Abdomen, OBGYN, small parts, abdominal vasculature, lower extremity DVT, follicular
- Preferred Experience: NICU and OR experience a plus
- Equipment Used: GE Logiq E10 and E9, GE Voluson
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with experience within the last year
- Valid professional license for Sonographer in Massachusetts (no conditional licenses accepted)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Photo ID: Recent (within 6 months) professional badge photo (color, plain background, no filters or headwear)
- Health and Safety:
- N95 Fit Test within 1 year of start date (no exemptions allowed)
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required
- Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity
- TB test within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if break >6 months
- Physician health statement within 1 year of start date, updated if break >6 months
- Background Checks:
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if break >6 months
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if break >6 months
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
- Documentation:
- Resume with 7 years of work history including city and state
- Two professional references within 4 years (minimum one supervisor-level)
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year
- Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for extensions
- Additional:
- Education verification through background check company
- Social Security Number trace as part of background check
- Candidate submission coversheet required for initial assignment and new facility submissions
