Morristown, New Jersey

Contract

13 weeks
Travel assignment
Full-time day shift
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
3 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Strong IV insertion skills
Ability to access implanted chest ports
Telemetry experience
Interventional Radiology experience

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

Clinical Experience / Skills

3–5 years of cardiac telemetry monitoring and/or cardiac imaging experience
3–5 years of radiology outpatient or interventional radiology imaging experience
Strong IV insertion skills
Ability to access implanted chest ports

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive pre-procedural assessments
Administer and titrate medications per protocol
Establish and maintain IV access for contrast administration
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Provide patient education and support informed consent
Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
Respond to emergencies and contrast reactions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Support quality improvement and maintain competency in cardiac imaging and contrast safety
