Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
NBSTSA
Driver's License

Health Requirements

MMR immunization or titer
Hepatitis B immunization or titer
Varicella immunization or titer
2-step PPD or IGRA
Fit test
Influenza vaccine
Annual negative PPD
Annual TB questionnaire
Positive PPD with negative chest X-ray

Role Overview

Works under surgeon supervision to support safe surgical procedures
Prepares operating rooms, supplies, and equipment
Maintains sterile technique and sterile field
Assists with patient positioning, prepping, draping, and time-out verification
Performs instrument, sharps, and sponge counts
Handles specimens and terminal cleaning/sterilization tasks
Uses standard precautions and PPE when handling hazardous substances

Must be able to perform assigned duties in the operating room environment
