Wound Care RN (BSN)

Overview

Travel/contract role in Charleston, South Carolina
Day shift: 5x8, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
First-time travelers accepted
No weekend requirement
No on-call requirement
No floating within scope to meet facility needs
May float to like units
Radius rule: 60 miles
Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate
Guaranteed hours: facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
2 years of Wound Care experience
Wound Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
WOCN
2 clinical references
Complete application/resume
Last 3 clinical employers verified through a third-party vendor
South Carolina state exclusion list requirement

Additional Notes

All RTO must be included at time of submission; approval depends on manager/unit needs
Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs June through November
Parking costs apply nights and weekends; one-time $20 parking pass fee
