Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Minneapolis, Minnesota
12-week assignment
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
40 hours per week
Patient ratio: 1:5
First-time travelers accepted
No local candidates within 100 miles
No floating within scope
Occasional weekend and on-call coverage, if able
Block scheduling not available
RTO ideally limited to 5 days

Specialty Details

Radiology procedures role covering interventional radiology, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and pre/post phase 2 recovery
Care includes prep and recovery of procedural patients, moderate sedation, MRI monitoring for pacemaker patients, anxiolysis for exams, medication administration for nuclear medicine patients, and select anesthesia cases
Procedures may include biopsies, tubes, lines, drains, lytics, thrombectomies, neuro, body, vascular, and liver embolizations

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Minnesota
Interventional Radiology (1 year of experience)
Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Pending license accepted
Scrubs provided
Parking is available at a flat rate of $0.55/hour
Physical exam required within 12 months prior to start
Tdap required
Negative TB or chest X-ray required
Respiratory safety clearance required
Drug testing required within 1 year of start
References are not required for client clearance
Background screening and Minnesota DHS clearance are required
