Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Charleston, South Carolina
• Night shift: 3x12s, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis if within 60 miles
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units/sister facilities
• On-call not required

Schedule

• Up to one working weekend shift per 4-week schedule period
• At least one holiday period required

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• 1 year of Operating Room experience
• Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients

Preferred Experience

• Scrub experience

Additional Requirements

• Must be willing to complete all required pre-start documentation, screenings, and onboarding items
• Must be able to complete facility orientation modules before start
• Must provide 2 clinical references
• Must submit a complete application/resume with PTO, contract assignments, agency names, and no unaccounted gaps
• Must complete annual work history verification for the last 3 clinical employers, or all available clinical employers if fewer than 3

• Level I trauma center
• Teaching facility
• Magnet hospital
• Busy main operating room with multiple surgical specialties

• Scrub color provided
• Parking permit required; parking may involve additional fees depending on location
• Hurricane season may require assignment to emergency response teams
