Telemetry RN Travel Contract

Assignment Details

• Travel/contract role
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1 year or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic
• Experience with Cerner

Scheduling / Work Expectations

• Must be able to float to like units or lower-acuity units across the organization, excluding the ED
• Must work 4 weekend shifts in each 4-week cycle
• Must work at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• W-4 on file
• Background check
• HHS/OIG check
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• N95 fit test within 1 year of start
• Tdap vaccination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination
• Drug screen within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccination or flu declination
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Two satisfactory references
• Employment application

Additional Notes

• Scrubs are not required in a specific color
• Facility-provided scrubs are available for OR and L&D
• Primary source verification of the RN license is required within 30 days of start
• Pyxis acknowledgment is required for RNs prior to start
• Learning modules must be completed by the due date before start
• May be required to complete a client job description and validation of qualifications form before start
