Unit Overview
- 20-bed licensed unit
- Short-term skilled care
- Typical patient ratio: 1:6
- Common patient conditions include post-surgical recovery and chronic illnesses such as COPD, CHF, diabetes, renal failure, hip fractures, pneumonia, sepsis, CVA, joint replacement, and cancers
- Skilled services include wound care, trach care, NG tube, G-tube, and therapy support after surgery or illness
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Skilled Nursing (1 year of experience)
- Skilled Nursing experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
