Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
48 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Setting

Short Term Acute Care
Level I Trauma Center
1,567 staffed beds
Based in a float pool across 2 campuses
Floats between 5 ICU specialties and step-down units
May float to a pulmonary step-down unit with 1:3 ratios

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Critical Care Float experience
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS

Schedule / Assignment Notes

On-call not required
Block scheduling not accommodated
Guaranteed hours
RTO greater than 7 days requires approval

Epic charting
Parking costs $125/month
Shuttle provided if needed between campuses
