ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in New Orleans, Louisiana
  • 13-week assignment
  • Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Float pool position with floating to multiple ICU areas as needed
  • Patient ratio: 1:2

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • ACLS
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Experience with Epic
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
  • Burn ICU experience

Schedule and Work Expectations

  • Every other weekend required
  • Holidays required
  • No call requirement
  • Float required to all ICUs listed in the source
  • Strict 5-day maximum RTO

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPI certification
  • CCRN certification

Additional Notes

  • Navy blue scrubs required
