Registered Nurse - Surgery (Circulator)

Location: Salida, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Surgical RN position working in a scenic mountain valley known for outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, and whitewater rafting.
• Work schedule: 4 days per week, Tuesday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts).
• Includes participation in a call rotation covering weekdays and weekends, shared equitably among staff.
• Total hours per week: 40.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
• Minimum of 3 years of OR Circulator experience, with at least some experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• Certifications such as BLS/BCLS, NRP, and ATT are noted but not explicitly required beyond those listed above.
• No prior travel experience required.
