Med/Surg / Skilled Nursing Nurse (Night Shift) – California

Job Details

• Location: King City, California
• Employment Type: Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

• Provide nursing care for non-critical pediatric patients.
• Float to the Skilled Nursing Department as needed.
• Must have experience with Cerner electronic health records system.
• Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract based on census changes.
• Overtime applies for hours worked beyond 40 hours per week.
• Any hours worked beyond 12 hours per day are invoiced at 1.5x (billing detail, not pay).

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience within the last year
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
