Job Opportunity: Hospital/ER Day Nurse

Location: Baker, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift (5:45 AM – 6:15 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours (3 to 4 twelve-hour shifts)

Facility Overview

Critical Access Hospital with 25 total beds
Two Emergency Room bays
5 acute care or skilled care beds staffed by one nurse
Long Term Care unit with up to 20 residents staffed by a dedicated LTC nurse

Job Description

Provide nursing care on the Acute Care/ER side
Work primarily in the Emergency Room and acute care areas
Day shift coverage

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Montana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 1 year Med Surg experience, with Med Surg experience within the last year
Emergency Department (ED) experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
