Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Primarily nights
• Some evening rotation
• On-call
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• No block scheduling
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• NBRC
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Driver's License
• Airway and ventilator management experience
• Ability to draw, analyze and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Experience with intubation

Preferred

• NRP certification
• EPIC experience

Other Important Details

• Meditech is used for receiving blood gas orders; experience is not required
• Airway and ventilator management experience required
• Blood gas draw, analyze, and interpret required
• Intubation experience
• Must work every other major holiday
• The RRT will work independently on the shift
• Flu vaccine required during season
• RTO must be included at time of submission and is not guaranteed after confirmation
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted; local rate applies
