Unit Information

• Unit Type: Cath Lab
• Number of Beds: 3 Holding Bays and 2 Cath Suites
• Staffing: 9 staff members
• Patient Ratios: 3 staff to 1 patient
• Shift: Day shift from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM

Equipment and Technology

• Type of Equipment: GE Innova Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab
• EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Must Have:

  • ACLS certification
  • 2 years of Cath Lab experience

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Holding experience
  • Monitoring experience

Typical Procedures

• Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
• Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Peripheral diagnostic and intervention
• Pacemakers, ICDs, Cardioversions, TEE’s
• Tilt Table Tests, Dobutamine stress tests

• Must reside within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab.
