Shift: Nights (6:30pm - 7:00am)
Hours per Week: 36

Provide nursing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery in a Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively.
Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
Apply strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care.
Adhere to safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
Floating and call responsibilities required (call at least 2 hours prior to shift start).

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC

Oil field so renting or hotel rooms are expensive. Patient population is a lot of drug and alcohol withdrawal patients. Minimal drops minimal vents.
