Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- TNCC
- CPI
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- ENPC within 90 days of hire
Schedule
- Every other weekend
- Must be able to meet department scheduling needs
- Cannot commit to block scheduling
Unit Notes
- Emergency department with 101 beds
- Typical patient ratio is 4:1 for medical patients; up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
- No floating outside the emergency department
Additional Information
- Previous HCA experience is preferred
- Navy scrubs are required
- Cerner is used for documentation
