Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • TNCC
  • CPI

Required Certifications

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NIHSS
  • ENPC within 90 days of hire

Schedule

  • Every other weekend
  • Must be able to meet department scheduling needs
  • Cannot commit to block scheduling

Unit Notes

  • Emergency department with 101 beds
  • Typical patient ratio is 4:1 for medical patients; up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
  • No floating outside the emergency department

Additional Information

  • Previous HCA experience is preferred
  • Navy scrubs are required
  • Cerner is used for documentation
