Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location

Houston, Texas

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

36 hours per week
Rotating weekends

Unit Information

Hospital unit with 444 beds
Staff includes 1 Charge, 3 PTs, and 2 PTAs on day shift; no night shift staff
Patient ratio: 1 PT to 12 patients
Equipment: Standard hospital equipment
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditect

Job Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and plan therapeutic interventions as required by the physical therapy discipline

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Dress Code

Navy blue scrubs
