Critical Care RN Travel

Job Overview

• Location: Fairfield, California
• Contract length: 8 weeks
• Shift: Day shift in ICU
• Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Floating: Must be willing and able to float to a sister facility and other departments as requested and qualified

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Acute Care experience

Role Summary

• Provides direct nursing care for assigned patients
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care
• Coordinates care with nurses, physicians, allied health professionals, and ancillary team members
• Documents nursing care per policy
• Uses manual and automated information systems to support efficiency and productivity
• Participates in patient satisfaction and complaint resolution efforts

• Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, sit, stand, walk, kneel, twist, reach, and perform fine motor tasks
