Overview

Travel/contract role in Glen Burnie, Maryland
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 20:00–08:30
Adult to geriatric patient population
Mixed med-surg unit with telemetry

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Unit Details

Average daily census: 18
24 beds
Patient ratio: 1:5
Common patient types include TIA, respiratory, urology, gynecology, cellulitis/wound care, palliative, infectious, gastrointestinal, post-op recovery, observation, and post-cardiac cath patients without intervention

Schedule Expectations

Holidays required as scheduled
Every other weekend required
Floating required within the specialty, other units, and sister facilities within scope
On-call not required
