Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Aurora, Colorado
Rotating shifts; various days of the week
36 staffed beds
12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Night: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; Day: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting

Unit / Assignment Details

MS Tele unit
Floating is required as needed and may include sister facilities
Epic charting
Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6, with ratios able to flex based on staffing and unit needs
Navy scrubs
Majority of patients are surgical oncology cases involving abdomen or pelvic-area diagnoses, including Gynecologic Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, and Stomach
Unit primarily cares for patients with a known cancer diagnosis needing surgical interventions or management of complications
No chemotherapy or biotherapy is administered on this unit
Staff do not need to be chemo certified to apply

Scheduling / Time-Off Notes

10 RTO days max approved
RTO not allowed during:
- October 25–November 4, 2026
- November 22–December 2, 2026
- December 20, 2026–January 3, 2027

No on-call requirement
